I collaborated with the Kyobi design firm to develop a high-impact pitch for T-Mobile Tuesdays—a mobile application initiative designed to foster weekly customer engagement through exclusive prizes and partner offers. This project required creating a fully functional, mobile-optimized prototype that showcased the application's potential to serve as a direct, dynamic channel for customer appreciation.

Founding story
T-Mobile, founded in 1994, has built its reputation on disrupting the wireless industry with bold moves like eliminating contracts, offering unlimited data, and providing customer-centric programs like T-Mobile Tuesdays. T-Mobile Tuesdays was created to reward loyal customers with weekly perks, gifts, and partner discounts, thereby strengthening brand affinity and customer retention in a competitive mobile carrier market.
The Challenge
• The pitch required rapid delivery of a fully functional prototype under an aggressive timeline, with evolving client needs and limited documentation.
• Complex Requirements: The prize draw system needed to support multiple prize tiers, wallet functionalities, redemption tracking, and customizable partner content—all while ensuring smooth UX across mobile platforms.
• Designs had to be quickly adapted to fully support responsive mobile displays and deliver a seamless, user touch-friendly experience.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Aligning design, product strategy, development feasibility, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-moving pitch environment added a layer of complexity.
The Solutions
• Modified existing designs to ensure optimal usability on mobile devices, focusing on seamless navigation, touch interactions, and real-time prize display animations.
• Functional Prototyping: Developed an interactive, fully functional prototype to effectively demonstrate key user flows and technical capabilities for the pitch presentation.
• Product Management & Ownership: Led the scoping, requirement definition, and sprint planning, serving as the product owner, product manager, and UX designer throughout the project.
• Defined comprehensive UX functional requirements, addressing app flexibility, prize engine logic, authentication flows, wallet management, and system scalability.
• Worked closely with both the Kyobi team and the external development team to extract critical business requirements, align on deliverables, and present a compelling solution.
• End-to-end System Planning: Accounted for backend dependencies, prize redemption workflows, partner code ingestion, and customer care tools, ensuring the prototype was grounded in technical feasibility.
